Nguyen Hue minority secondary school boarding is located n Phuoc Thanh, Bac Ai town, Ninh Thuan (Central Vietnam). Bac Ai is a small town, 381 km from Saigon, populated mostly by ethnic minorities and its economy relies mostly on agriculture.
There are 172 students currently enrolled, 91% are from low income families and 100% are ethnic minorities. The school has a computer room with 10PCs, however these are rather old and inadequate for students to learn and practice on. Normally, 3 students share a computer during 1 practice session per week. The school also can only provide 1 session whereas 2 sessions per week are recommended by Department of Education. The library has approximately 100 old books, most are general textbooks as opposed to reference books.
