Da Kiet & Suoi Le Satellite Elementary Schools are located in Phuoc Khang, Thuan Bac, Ninh Thuan. Thuan Bac is a small town 362 km from Saigon, populated mostly by ethnic minorities and its economy relies mostly on agriculture.

This school enrolls 92 students, 100% from ethnic minorities and 85% from low income families. Same as Suoi Da, parents struggle to cover schooling cost of $25/student/year to keep children in school.</p

Da Kiet school has 4 classrooms supporting 59 students, Suoi Le school has 2 rooms supporting 33 students. Neither school has library room. Da Kiet school also suffers from aluminum and fluoride contaminated water. Similar stories in the US and its effect: New Orleans, Flint.
