I used to suppose that the whole lot I am using, playing is obvious, till I noticed the youngsters within the mountainous vicinity of Vietnam, for example Yen Bai province. When I went to a Yen Bai faculty, I noticed a heart-breaking scene, 3-4 students should use 1 book collectively and those books are previous and in low-quality.

Most of the homes in mountainous vicinity in Yen Bai are shabby, they appear like tents and all of them need maintenance. Children should promote matters on the road to assist their families’ economic system due to the fact the common earnings consistent with capita consistent with month is handiest 1500000VND so it isn’t unexpected that the ones youngsters can’t pass to high school. Poorness isn’t the handiest motive why youngsters can’t pass to high school, the issue of visiting in mountainous vicinity is likewise a problem. Those who get the possibility to move to high school don’t have the device to study, they should use books are surely vintage and a number of the pages are even diminished after time.

My own circle of relatives has been supported through many humans in lots of factors of existence, that’s why I recognize the significance of kindness and the sensation of success and happiness of someone that has been helped. I need to assist humans as lots as I may want to because it brings happiness now no longer handiest to me however additionally to the humans that I assist due to the fact I could make a power of their existence. By sponsoring a library for Kim Noi faculty, I could have an effect on children literacy development. Books and information is the handiest manner for those unlucky youngsters to extrade their existence and feature a higher destiny for his or her own circle of relatives.

Libraries are important, mainly to youngsters, libraries are locations wherein they are able to get information. Libraries additionally assist in developing children minds, open a brand new global to them or even gasoline their dreams. Libraries offer a secure area for youngsters to learn, provide a quiet vicinity for college students to study, and inspire college students to study, to grow, and discover the global. The library a good way to be subsidized in Kim Noi faculty may be surely beneficial for college students to study on every occasion they need.

With that in mind, it’s far my choice to sponsor a library in Kim Noi faculty, I could make a small contribution to assist the vicinity and its humans Sustainable Development Goals just like the SDG range 1 (No poverty), SDG range four (Quality Education), SDG range 10 (Reduced Inequalities), SDG range 11 (Sustainable towns and communities). When humans have information, they are able to assist enhancing the economic system and poverty could be reduced. Knowledge is the handiest manner to enhance existence qualities.

Being a volunteer is one of the best things individuals can do in their life due to its enormous potential benefits. Therefore, I have decided to become a member in founding a library for children in a mountainous area, specifically in Mu Cang Chai.

I participated in establishing the library since libraries are more significant than ever for today’s youth. Libraries not only offer children free educational resources but also preserve the nation’s history. Furthermore, they contribute to the development of healthier, more diverse communities. For instance, parents join baby story-times clubs, the elders attend events and find ways to connect with people and even teenagers meet up in libraries with their study groups for team building or school projects. Besides, libraries can also help support a country’s economy since they would contribute dramatically to the reduction of the illiteracy rate of children.

I once travelled to Sapa, which is a district-level town of Lào Cai Province in the Northwest region of Vietnam with my family. It was a memorable experience since I have been sightseeing some breathtaking scenery there. However, as soon as I went to a village where the local people lived, I soon found out that the children there were living in the food, electricity, and education shortage condition. When they see tourists coming through, they either try to sell souvenirs or small pieces of merchandise to them or ask the tourists to give them something to eat for their families.

As far as I can tell, not only is the housing very shabby, but the learning conditions are also limited because the students are mostly ethnic minorities from complex backgrounds. For example, students there have to travel many kilometers in the morning to go to school. In addition, there are a lot of children there who can’t even purchase textbooks to study.

Unfortunately, such situations occur in many parts of the world nowadays. As a result, I believe that a library is the best option for the youth there to broaden their minds by knowledge and appreciate the world more profoundly.

Recently, I have read some news of some shining examples who achieved prestigious scholarships and prizes despite being ethnic minorities. To be honest, in my perspective, those individuals have worked incredibly hard, much harder than anyone else living in urban areas and I appreciated their efforts. They have triumphed over adversity, and now they can taste victory. The point I want to make here is that by sponsoring a library, we are laying the groundwork for children to achieve their ambitions, and to experience the world with the knowledge they prepare.

The emergence of a fundraising program aiming at a library establishment for Kim Noi Primary and Secondary School then came as a golden opportunity for me to assist remote students. Not only did I apply to be a part of the program, I also recommended it to several friends of mine as a way to amplify this meaningful and practical project. The school that the project aims to financially support is located in Ban Dao, Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province where harsh weather conditions prevail throughout the year, switching between scorching hot summer and freezing winter and clean water is of critical shortage. In addition, over 60% of students’ families are reported to have low income, mainly from shifting cultivation. Along with that, as the area is sparsely populated, the majority of students have to commute about 8.5 km without any vehicles to school. In other words, children here simply do not have favorable conditions to receive education like us in the city.

It is universally acknowledged that education is one of the best ways to upgrade a person’s life, or more broadly, improve a community’s living standard. Yet as a consequence of prolonged poor education conditions and low accessibility of knowledge deprived from lack of schools’ infrastructures and facilities, several generations of people living in mountainous or remote areas seem to get stuck into a spiral of poverty. Hence, the establishment of a library here can undoubtedly exert a profound impact on the educational and cultural level of local people, particularly the young. The availability of books would turn their lives around to the better by giving them an opportunity to enrich knowledge and change their mindsets to achieve more in life. However, without the support of philanthropists who contribute and finance the project, this scenario might never be turned into reality. Finally, I am in high hope that there are more and more people with a heart of gold willing to support this fundraising program and spread it to others so that the upland children have the best learning conditions and a potentially better life later on, or in short, no one is left behind anymore!
