School Statistics

Current Conditions & Needs from School

School is located in Cham ethnic minority group area. In the past few years, local authority has intendedly promoted community based tourism to foster the livelihood of Cham people, particularly for youngsters. This long term strategy is in the hope of young people stay in the village.
Primary education is compulsory and tuition-free in Vietnam. However, other expenses such as for textbooks, uniforms, sanitation, pens, notebooks, insurance, or even repainting the classrooms could go far beyond tuition for underprivileged students.
During a recent field trip to school, the teachers told us that encouraging the students coming to back to school in new academic year is really a challenge due to the additional costs for students from low income households. School also would like to aid school supplies and uniform for 200 poor students.
