The orphanage also takes care for over 10 elders, some are in severely ill conditions. The current facility is over capacity. With the help of generous donors and various organizations, a new house is being constructed. Sister Bao Quyen mentioned that the local authority do not allow adoption at this orphanage. All the kids stay at the orphanage until they reach 18 when they can be independently find jobs. Sometimes, it is not always easy to find a job, and they came back to the orphanage to ask for support. The children here are very lovely, playful, and smart. They performed several songs for us and each was very well-choreographed. The older kids are very responsible. They take care for the younger ones. It’s definitely a one big happy family.
