School Statistics

Number of Students: 346 | 20% Low Income | 97% Minority

Current Conditions & Needs from School

Phuoc Binh Kindergarten recent built new rooms through the government’s budget. 97% of students are ethnic group.
Kindergarten is always trying to take pre-school students to play outdoor games, unfortunately they are running out of options due to a limited budget.
School wants to install a playground area to help students have fun and keep them physically active. School also wants to make students are happiest in spaces and keep them and they will stay long in school after lunch break.

ASK [What BeCause will support]

Install a mobile playground with recycled materials. School is going to install in the summer of August 2020 when teachers will be having square time.
Playground budget is $1,500 & school and parents will be contributed $500 & daily their labor.

I am working as software engineer in San Jose. I came to the US 14 years ago and was given a lot of helps and opportunities by parents, relatives, friends, co-workers up to now. There were many excuses for me not to do volunteering works sooner. Now is the time. I want to spend my extra time to pay forward for the helps that I have been given. What inspires me to fundraise this project is Nam Dinh is where my grandparents lived and rested, and where my parents spent their childhood. I went back to visit in 2009 and couldn’t imagine how under developed Nam Dinh is. The children in Nghia Thanh Village definitely could use some of our helps.
