Current Conditions & Needs from School

Dong Thong satellite school recently built 6 new rooms and 3 existing rooms. 100% of students are ethnic group and from low-income families.
Poverty and low awareness of low-income parents have deprived education opportunities of many children. Most low-income parents are determined not allow children to go to school if they cannot afford to pay for the educational cost.
School has been always trying to take students outside of the classrooms. Unfortunately, they were running out of options due to budget constraint.
First campaign for Dong Thong Satellite School which is being executed this summer focused on building mobile playground with recycled materials for the students to enjoy outdoor games and keep them physically active.
