School Statistics

Current Conditions & Needs from School

Located in a very poor commune of Mu Cang Chai where 65% of population living under poverty line and 95% of population is ethnic group. School has 80% students from low-income families and the parents cannot afford to buy school supplies in the new school year.
First campaign for Pung Luong Library was focused on providing books and furnitures for library to promote reading habits and improve writing and communication skills for ethnic minority.
Attendance drops as new school year because the parents cannot afford to pay for school supplies.

ASK [What BeCause will support]

As part of 2019 Charity Mission, BeCause will provide school supplies including a TV for the libary, notebooks, and pens for the students, especially those are from low-income families.
