School Statistics
- Number of Students: 345 | 4% low income students| 90% Minority
- My Son A Elementary School is located in My Son commune where the majority of the population is Raglai and K’hor. Students’ parents work as seasonal coffee pickers in Lam Dong and Daklak. 90% students hold low-income family, parents are financially struggling to make the contribution for the installation of a mobile playground.
- Daily low attendance ultimately happens at around 80% after lunch break because the school is not really an appealing learning environment. The school also want to install a playground area with friendly games to boost the development of good physical activity habits early in life for students.
- Install a mobile playground with recycled materials in the school year of 2023 – 2024 when teachers will have square time.
- Playground budget is $835 & school and parents will be contributed around $200 & daily their labor.
