School Statistics
- Number of Students: 469 | 32.8% Low Income | 100% Minority (Cham)
- School is located in the commune accounting for 100% Cham ethnic minority group. In the last few years, local authority has intendedly boosted tourism in the hope of enhancing the livelihood of locals.
- Primary education is compulsory and tuition-free in Vietnam. However, other expenses such as for textbooks, uniforms, sanitation, pens, notebooks, insurance, or even repainting the classrooms could go far beyond tuition for underprivileged students.
- During a recent field trip to school, the teachers told us that encouraging the students coming to back to school in new academic year is really a challenge due to the additional costs for students from low income households. School also would like to aid school supplies and uniform for 200 poor students.
