Current Conditions & Needs from School
- Secondary Boarding School is located in Loi Hai commune where 100 of adolescent students from different ethnic groups in 6 communes. Therefore, students have to live and study in 5 days per week. At first, school was managed by Phan Rang DOET. In 2022, Thuan Bac DOET took over and is responsible for managing school. Thereby, BeCause has a chance to discuss our library project.
- Fostering reading habits will bring the positive impacts of a higher attendance rate for the school. Due to budget constraints, school has a low priority to invest in a library.
- BeCause had a long conversation with students to identify which library decoration model will be a good fit for their age range. It shed some light that adolescent students would like to decorate the reading corner as a boba tea house.

- Paint library room, three bookshelves, different book titles per student & 10 small reading tables, foam floor mats

Khue Nghi Le Do
Being born and living in this world is already a source of great pleasure, but perhaps living in the hearts of others is even more so. I believe the greatest happiness in life is the feeling of love and being loved. That thought has inspired me to take action to help the children of Thuan Bac Secondary school in Ninh Thuan province.
My name is Khue Nghi and I am currently a student at Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted. My parents have participated in lots of charities. When I ask them what motivates them, they always say, “Giving love is receiving love.” I see a positive energy and the powerful impact of spreading love far and wide. What a magical and fantastic world it would be.
I love every little moment in my life.
I love to always wear a big smile.
I love watching my sister enjoy her favorite ice cream.
I love making others happy and joyful.
I love being around people I care about.
I love seeing the children’s smiles when they realize there is still love outside of society and letting them feel the sweetness of kindness and caring.
And for me, giving is not just about donations and monetary contributions. It is about making a difference. It reflects who we are at our best, energizes our spirit of generosity, and fuels our desire to give what we can and do what we can to improve and enrich the lives of others, whether they are right on our doorstep or thousands of miles away.
Tran Tran
I’m Tran Tran, a student at the British International School. Since I was 12, I’ve had the opportunity to observe directly the numerous youngsters all around the world who are still living in poverty at my age and to cultivate a profound appreciation for life through voluntary work at school. One of my favorite quotes,”Great things are done by a series of tiny things brought together”, emphasizes how important your actions are to the lives of kids who live in moral communities and how the attention you give and get is noticed.
Volunteering can take many different forms. Since most of us have highly busy schedules, we don’t always have time for other activities, but offering our services to others is a valuable endeavor. The majority of underprivileged youth under the age of 16 are unable to attend school, despite the fact that all they require is a basic level of living conditions including food, shelter, access to clean water, warmth, and poverty. Children who live with adults who are abusive and neglectful can also become underprivileged. BeCause project’s goal of helping society in a way that allows a group of people to work for the general welfare has drawn me to it. To achieve charitable status, it is crucial that public benefits be attached as the guiding principles. At BeCause, we have a desire or a vision which is to see all the children participate in the economic and social development of this wonderful country, Vietnam, regardless of their status in life, ethnicity or education.
Anh Duy Le Do
“A person’s most valuable asset is not a head full of knowledge. But a heart full of love, with an ear ready to listen and a hand willing to help”. This sentence has inspired my younger self so much to head for helping other people. Hi, I’m Anh Duy, and I believe every individual has the chance and the right to live, to chase their dream, to become who they want to be without being resisted by undesirable circumstances. Since I was a child I witnessed crisis, poverty, and catastrophe ongoing throughout the days. I love going to school, many people do too, but they don’t have the privilege to go. I love playing the piano, and many others love music so much, but their own lives resist them. I love surfing the internet, finding interests, positivity, exploring the world, lots and many people my age desire for knowledge, but it is hard for them since they don’t have the needed equipment or decent provisions. What I witnessed has pushed me to volunteer for BeCause. I want to help inferior lives, give them opportunities, and empathize with them. Showing the world that in the perfect world where we’re thinking everything is perfect, there are still people seeker for help. And shows disadvantaged people that in the darkest moment of their lives, the world still has brighter sides to head for.
