AKIRA & LILY

Akira and I are supporting Ngo Quyen Elementary & Secondary Boarding School through BeCause, a charitable organization that provides educational resources to underprivileged children in Vietnam. I am a proud, full-time, single mom to my daughter Akira. We are a tightly connected family that value education and finances. Since I started working at a very young age, I’ve learned financial responsibility and became interested in economics. I quickly developed skills throughout my career in the financial industry which give me diverse experiences. Once I settled in the industry, I discover a new passion which is helping others, especially children. We have a responsibility to provide for future generations in order to give them opportunities that we might not have had growing up. In addition to BeCause, I play an active role in variety of projects to gather donations for basic living supplies, books, and other educational resources for those in needs. Outside of charity work, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, participating in outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and backpacking. I also love traveling, immersing myself in different cultures and understanding the importance of philanthropy. I’ve completed a full and a few half marathons to raise money for cancer treatment as a way to do charity while staying in shape. I strongly believe the importance of health and fitness in order to take care of my loved ones.
